Team Raftaar is a team of undergraduate students of Delhi Technological University who share a common vision, i.e., to engrain the dynamic concept of Human Powered Vehicles in our day to day lives and thus, promote sustainable modes of transportation for a better world ahead. We design a fully Carbon Fibre faired recumbent bicycle to achieve speeds in excess of 80 kmph purely out of human power.
EXPLORETeam Raftaar is the 1st Indian Human Powered Vehicle team to design and fabricate a Metal-Free Human Powered Vehicle. Having established our stronghold in the Indian [2015] and the Asia-Paciļ¬c [2017] events by being the Overall champions, we participated in the North American Event and by working on a Metal-Free Human Powered Vehicle and manufacturing it completely out of Carbon Fiber making our Vehicle lighter and faster than ever.
